Mobile Tunneling

The tunnel has been an annoyance to the driver and the rail passenger.

As we all know, none of the mobile phones networks operate in tunnels, an annoyance or a respite, according to the individual perspective but they black out on entry into the tunnel. It is worth noting, therefore, that Vodafone has started talks with Network Rail, the non-profit making UK Network rail provider, about extension of its mobile phone coverage into railway tunnels.
